Madeline Charlotte Ripley Wyndillier 78, Spearfish, SD, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011, at the Spearfish Regional Hospital. She went to be with her Heavenly Father after a lengthy struggle with a lung disease.

Madeline was born May 18, 1932 near Aladdin, WY to Herrick V. and Clara Ripley. She graduated in1950 from Sundance High School in Sundance, WY and attended Black Hills State College in 1951-52. She spent many years working in California. She married Brian Wyschnefski and they lived and worked in the Tahoe, CA area. Later she moved to Monterey Bay, CA, and there she and Rudy Abeya were married.

Madeline spent hundreds of hours making and selling craft items at farmers' markets and craft sales. The items she created were her work of love and joy.

Madeline's surviving family includes her brother Cyrus Claire (Maxine) Ripley, sister-in¬law Gloria Ripley, stepchildren Alice Ann (Kim) Loveland, Tony Wyndillier, Ruby (Yvette) Abeyta, Jr., step grandchildren, step great grandchild, nieces and nephews.

Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Herrick Owen Ripley and sister Eleanor Esquivel.

A memorial graveside service and burial will be held 9:00 AM Wednesday, July 20, at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Spearfish, SD with Rev. Mel Miller officiating.
