Lyle Howlett Jerred, 88 of Spearfish passed away September 11, 2010.
Lyle was born in White River, SD. He grew up as a young man in the Winner/Gregory area working for many farmers and ranchers who treated him as family. Lyle is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elaine Vrzal Jerred, daughters, Kathy Green (John), Rapid City and Becky Bennett (Bob), Minneapolis, MN, 6 grandchildren and loving great-grandchildren.
We will miss his great sense of humor. He loved to tease all his friends and family at every opportunity. At age 87 he was still riding horses, attending rodeos, and tubing on the lake in MN with his grandchildren.
