Lou Ann attended Lead/Deadwood schools and worked at FL Thorpe until its closing. She was then employed by the Homestake Mine Tours. She began her employment at Wells Fargo Bank in 2000 and worked in Lead and Deadwood branch offices. Lou Ann really enjoyed helping out her "older" customers at the bank and liked to give everyone a smile and treat for visiting her.
Her joy was taking care of everyone! She enjoyed quilting and loved an annual quilt shopping trip to Sioux Falls with her sewing club. Lou Ann also enjoyed bowling on a Wednesday night women's league in Lead.
