Lonna Rae Ommen Hollon, 64 of Spearfish, SD died peacefully on December 16, 2010 at her home.
Visitation will be from 4-6 P.M., Monday, December 20, 2010 at Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lead, burial will follow at Mt. Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to benefit Hospice of the Northern Hills with special gratitude and thanks.
Lonna was born on September 3, 1946 in Chamberlain,SD to Dick and Audrey (Reis) Ommen. She attended school in Deadwood, SD. She married Bill Hollon on December 15, 1963 in Lead, SD. To this union three daughters where born Sherry, Teresa and Shannon.
Lonna was a faithful employee to 3 employers; the last 11 years at Bashas of Phoenix, AZ; over 10 years at the Cedar House in Spearfish and 15 years at Milans Shoe Store in Parkersberg WV. Lonna loved the Price is Right, Nascar and the Arizona Cardinals.
Survivors include her daughters; Sherry (Stanley) Barse of Watertown, SD, Teresa (Scott Burdette of Waverly, West Virginia, Shannon (Randy) Walker of Belpre, OH; sisters Rickie (Larry) Karns of Spearfish, Rita (Jim) Snow of Phoenix, AZ; brother Rodney (Janet) Ommen Buena Vista, CO; six grandchildren Jamie Burdette, Jessie Hamrick, Steven Burdette, RJ Walker, Sarah Walker, Jacob Barse; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Pete and niece Lisa.
