Lois Jean Sternhagen, 75 of Lead died Friday, April 11th 2008 at her home.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M., Wednesday, April 16th 2008 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lead.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 17th 2008 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Bruce Adams officiating.
A memorial has been established.
Lois was born October 11th 1932 to William and Bernice (Daddow) Alleman in Loup City, NE. She moved at the age of two with her family to Lead, South Dakota. She attended school in Lead, graduating from Lead High School in 1950. Lois married Clarence Sternhagen on June 9th 1952 in Lead. Lois worked at Norwest Bank, now Wells Fargo as a teller for thirty five years, retiring in 1992. She enjoyed her flower garden and working in her yard. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lead.
Lois is survived by daughter, Ralynn (John) Whitelock of Brandon, SD, son, Cliff Sternhagen of Lead, two sisters, Lorriane Benton of Gerald, MO and Margy Lee of Payson, AZ, two grandchildren, Adam and Abby Whitelock of Brandon, special niece and caretaker Sheila (Steve) Brown of Whitewood, brother-in-law, James Sternhagen of Lead.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence in 1965, five infant children and brother Bob.
