Lois Ann Kellogg, 85, peacefully went to meet her Lord on June 9, 2023, at her home with her family by her side. Lois was born in Buffalo, SD on November 4, 1937, to Truman (Dick) and Dorothy Jones.

Lois lived on a ranch in the Slim Buttes and at age 9, her family moved to Belle Fourche, SD. They lived in Belle for a short time until moving to Spearfish, SD. She met the love of her life, Keith Kellogg, at Spearfish High School and they married before Lois graduated. However, when asking for her Mom and Dad's consent, she had to make them a promise to graduate from high school after getting married and she kept her promise. They were married on November 20, 1954 and remained devoted to each other for 66 years, until Keith's death in January 2021. In this union they had three children; Michael, Kellie, and Lorri. Lois worked as a bookkeeper at Lookout Memorial Hospital for years, then worked at the Spearfish Senior Center. She also managed the books for the family moulding business through the years. While she loved all her

jobs, her favorite job was being a Grandma! She was a loving grandmother and her house was overflowing with toys for all. She always had great food to eat, along with sugary Kool-Aid with doughnut holes. She was very proud of her land on Maitland Road and the house that her and Keith built together for their family. This was her safe haven, especially in her later years. Friends and family felt comfortable and welcome in her home. Along with her family, she loved her dog, Bowie. They were joined at the hip over the past four years. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Lois leaves behind her son Michael (Kathy) Kellogg of Spearfish, daughter Kellie (Chuck) Waterland of Alzada, Montana, and daughter Lorri (Kenny) Engelhardt of Spearfish. Her grandchildren; Korey Kellogg, Justin Kellogg, Amanda Schulze (Donovan), Chase Bercier, Brittany Waterland, and Bailie Waterland. Two sisters; Ardis Piper of Bozeman, MT and Reta Schell of Spearfish, SD. She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Keith Kellogg, parents; Dick and Dorothy Jones, her brother, Bob Jones, and her granddaughter, Megan Kellogg.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Monument Home Health and Hospice.
