Lois Harr, 90, of Spearfish, passed away on December 18, 2012 at the David M. Dorsett Healthcare Center.

Lois was born August 6, 1922 to Archie and Jenny Cooper in Ashton, SD. She was raised in the Redfield area and attended Redfield High School. She married Gordon Harr in June of 1939. The couple owned and operated a farm in Faulk County for 21 years. On the farm she played the role of mother, wife and husband's farmhand. The couple later moved to Spearfish. While in Spearfish, Lois was a caregiver at the David M. Dorsett Healthcare Center. Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed cooking and baking for her children, and grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Rich (Gloria) Harr, daughter, Pam (Chris) Rogers, all of Spearfish and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Harr, daughter, Judy Jeffries and her brother and sister.

Private family services will take place at a later time.
