Lisa "Shannon" Hamilton-O'Dell 42, of Deadwood passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 At the Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Shannon was born in Tucson, AZ on July 7, 1972 to Deb Chase and Richard Hamilton. She live in Tucson, until 1988 when her family made a major move to Deadwood.

Shannon attended High School in Lead, and College in Bismarck ND. On July 05, 2008 Shannon married the love of her dreams and together they started a new life. Shannon was currently working as the head housekeeper at the Lodge of Deadwood.

She is survived by her husband, Jamie O'Dell; mother, Deb Chase, father, Richard Hamilton; brother, Delbert Hamilton and all other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Alice Currier; grandmother, Louise Circle Mitcheltree and uncle, Neal Clark Hamilton.

Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Lead-Deadwood Chapel.
