Linda Marie Green went to her home in heaven on June 25th 2026.

She was born in Deadwood SD, to Robert and Evelyn (Dryer) Mason on May 2nd, 1952. She grew up in Lead, SD and graduated from Lead High School in 1970. During school, she met Daniel Green and they married on June 17th, 1971. Linda worked her first job at A&W, she then went on to work for the telephone company, then a graphic artist, and then owned her own lawn service. With Dan's job, they lived in South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, and Montana. After retiring, they finally returned to the Black Hills. Linda enjoyed art, hiking, exploring the outdoors, traveling, her dogs Molly and Keesha, and finding peace in her faith.

She is survived by her sister Deanna (Darryl Cornell); her brother Steve (Launa) Mason; her nieces and nephews Casey, Christy, Shawn and Melissa (goddaughter); great-nieces and nephews Ryan, Jamie, Kaylee, Kimber, Easton; great-great nieces and nephew Oakley, Mae, Charlie, and Oliver, a second goddaughter Carrie Patton.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband Dan Green of 51 years; her parents Robert J and Evelyn Mason; her grandparents Maurice and Loula (Hines) Mason, and Edward and Ethel (Richards) Dryer; her brother Robert E (Bobby) Mason, and great-nephew Kyle Harvey.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 1 2026, at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish. A private family burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Hospice or Black Hills Works.
