Lawrence "Larry" Ervin Albright, 74 of Spearfish died Thursday, May 18, 2017 at his home in Spearfish.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am, Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church in Spearfish, burial with military honors will take place at Black Hills National Cemetery.
Larry was born January 11, 1943 to Sam and Leona Albright in Carrington, ND. He attended grade school in North Dakota before moving with his family to Lead, where he attended Lead High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1960, where he served in Japan and Hawaii and was honorably discharged in 1963. Larry married the love of his life, Peggy Yardley in 1964, to this union two daughters were born, Sandra and Donna and later they adopted Shannon. Larry worked for the Homestake Sawmill and later for Homestake Gold Mine. Larry's love of life was his family, traveling and music.
Larry passed away from Alzheimer's Disease at home surrounded by his family.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Sam and Doug and sister, Diane.
Grateful to have shared in his life is his wife, Peggy Albright of Spearfish, daughters; Sandra (Scott) Hartl of Spearfish, Donna (Wally) Conway of Rapid City and Shannon Albright of Spearfish, Duane Albright of Gillette, WY, Robert Albright of Belle Fourche and Roger Albright of Whitewood, one sister, Linda (Russell) Swanson, four grandchildren; Sentrica Craig, Adam Albright, Santana Lopez and Shanese Williamson and two great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Lily.
