Kristi Lynn Dower, 49 of Spearfish died Thursday, October 1, 2020 as the result of a motor vehicle accident Lander, WY.

Kris was born February 10, 1971 to Charles and Georgia (Reynolds) Nations in Monte Vista, CO. She moved with her family to Lander as a young child. Kris graduated from high school in Lander and then attended Black Hills State University where she graduated with high honors and obtained a degree in Special Education. Kris married Douglas J. Dower in July of 1996, two sons were born to this union, David and Derick. Kris worked for Black Hills Special Services, Northern Hills Training Center, Evergreen Management and just recently for Black Hills State University.  Kris was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Spearfish. Kris, Doug, David and Derick were baptized together on November 12, 2017. She enjoyed diamond painting and running, but most of all spending time with her family camping.

Kris is survived by her husband Doug Dower, sons, David (Taea Albonico-Dower) Dower and Derick (Isabella Di Gioia) Dower and sister, Kimberly (Richard) Warner, her fur-babies Hachi, Zeus, Luna and Teddy Bear. She was preceded in death by her father and mother.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00am, Friday, October 9, 2020 at Grace Fellowship Church in Spearfish with Pastor Steve Miller officiating.
