Kimberly Whitlock Cheshier, 52, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

She was born on July 5, 1971, in Spearfish, SD, a daughter of Jim and Loxy (Burckhard) Whitlock. She was a 1989 graduate of Spearfish High School and later attended Heald College in Hawaii where she received her associate degree in medical assisting. She enjoyed working at Pear Harbor for several years. She cherished her husband, and sons and later in life, she found great joy in being a grandmother to her granddaughter, Coast Lilly. Kimberly walked through life with a gentle strength, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with kindness, beauty, and unforgettable grace. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Dave Cheshier; both sons, Jesse (Jessica) and Joshua (Heaven); her granddaughter, Coast; her father, Jim Whitlock and her stepmother, Carson Whitlock; her sister, Dr. Sami Webb and her husband, Dr. Jason Webb, nephew Jhett Webb and niece Abigail Webb.

Her memorial service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday,  June 1, 2024 at the Fidler-Isburg Funeral  Chapel in Spearfish, SD.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 pm on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Black Hills National Cemetary.
