Kerry Haug, 58 of Spearfish, passed away on October 3, 2018 at the Rapid City Hospice House.

Kerry was born March 1, 1960 in Huron, SD. He graduated from Huron High School in 1978. After graduation, he attended Mitchell Vo-Tech for 2 years. After graduation he moved to Spearfish.

In 1994, Kerry married his best friend and the love of his life, Shawn "Post" Kingsbury. He enjoyed spending time with his family most of all being Papa Curl to his grandkids. He also LOVED watching his Seahawks, win or lose, spending time with friends, but mostly living his life to the fullest.

Kerry is survived by his mother, Doris Haug of Spearfish; wife, Shawn Haug of Spearfish; his daughters, Erin (William) Chord of Piedmont; Kara Haug of Spearfish; Kristine (Anson) Juelfs and their children, Zak, Evan, Anya of Pierre; his sisters, Karen (Bob) Moye of Spearfish; Karla (Vic) Oberle of Aurora, CO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Kerry was preceded in death by his dad, Carl Haug, Jr; his sister, Connie Rae; his father-in-law, Leo Post; his grandparents, aunts, uncles and beloved friends.

Memorial service will be held Friday, October 12, 2018, at 10:30am, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Spearfish. A lunch will be provided by the OSLC Women following the service. Also please wear sports apparel instead of black.
