Kermit "Butch" E Stephens, 66, died Thursday, February 3, 2011 at his home in Beulah, WY.

Mr. Stephens was born August 23, 1944 in Graham, TX to Adele and L.D. Stephens. He later served in the US Army in Germany and was a Vietnam veteran. Mr. Stephens lived in Sheridan until 1998 at which time he moved to the Black Hills area of SD.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Cliff Lyons and Pete Stephens. He is survived by two sons; Harald Stephens of Leominster, MA and Kermit Stephens Jr. of Eden Prairie, MN, two brothers; Niel Stephens of Sundance, and Chuck Stephens of Bighorn, WY; one grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
