Obituary
Kenneth Niemi, 81 of Spearfish, passed away on July 25, 2013 at his home.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at the South Lead Cemetery in Lead. A memorial has been established to the Northern Hills Training Center.
Kenneth was born on September 11, 1931 to Eino and Ida (Anderson) Niemi in Lauriam, MI. He has been a resident of the Northern Hills Training Center for many years and loved to watch western.
He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Keil; nieces and nephews, Sara Miles, Marc Niemi, Susan Kotek, Sina Glover and Dennis Hogarth. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Alvin and niece, Sheila Osborn.
Arrangements are under the care of Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapels and Crematory Service of Spearfish.
