Kenneth "Mike" Bush, 71 of Sundance, WY passed away peacefully, Sunday, November 16, 2008 at his home in Sundance.

Funeral services will be at 10:00A.M., Thursday, November 20, 2008 at the Sundance United Methodist Church with Reverend Tom Martin officiating, burial will follow at Mt. Mount Moriah Cemetery in Sundance.

Mike was born January 18, 1937 to Bill and Alberta Bush, the second of six children. He grew in Hulett and was an accomplished prankster (just ask his siblings). Upon graduation he spent a short time in Alaska before returning to work in Hulett. He spent time logging, working at the CO-OP and working construction. He married Janice Knapp on June 14th 1957. In 1960 he went to work for the Wyoming Highway Department in Hulett, the beginning of a 39 year career that would take the family to Burgess Junction and Moorcroft before settling in Sundance in 1971, where they raised their three children. Mike continued working for Wydot as the area maintenance supervisor until his retirement in December of 1998.

Mike enjoyed family, gardening, old cars and airplanes. His favorite moments were spent watching his grandchildren, tinkering with a vehicle or outwitting the wildlife eyeing his garden.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Bush of Sundance, two sons, Michael (Elsa) Bush of Gillette, WY and Richard (Amy) Bush of Gillette, WY, daughter, Lisa Bush of Casper, WY, three grandsons; Thomas, Trent and Caleb and three brothers, Roger (Bonnie) Bush of Cody, WY Jerry (Linda) Bush of Beulah, WY and Kelly (Ellin) Bush of Gillette, WY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tim and sister Jill.
