Kenneth R. Bartels, 59, Spearfish died January 20, 2015.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30pm Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the United Church of Christ in Spearfish.
Kenneth was born August 23, 1955 in Pierre, SD to James and Doris (Speer) Bartels. He was raised on his family's ranch near Ft. Pierre. Kenneth always had a love for animals, especially his cat, Hank. He also was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his mom, Doris Bartels, his sister, Barb (Chuck) Snyder and nephew, Derek Snyder. He was preceded in death by his father.
