Mr. Justin Mark Fender, 36 of Lead, SD, died peacefully surrounded by family in Gillette, WY on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, after a long hard battle with Huntington's Disease.

Justin was born on May 20, 1982, in Tyndall, SD to Lindsey and Doreen Kruse. He graduated from Lead-Deadwood High School in 2001. Justin was passionate about seizing the moment and never missing a chance to cause trouble. He loved to be the center of attention and lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed fishing, clean white tennis shoes, The Price is Right, wearing an over-abundance of cologne, and playing bingo. He will always be remembered as being the life of the party, a ladies man, and the guy who thought it would be "fun" to drive with his feet. He had the biggest, best smile you have ever seen, and he never let anything bring him down. His children were his everything and brought so much love and joy into his life.

Justin is survived by his children, Dakota, Logan, and Autumn Fuernisen of Gillette, WY; his parents, Lindsey and Pat Kruse of Lead SD; siblings, Holly (Miguel) Muniz of Burlington, NC, Michelle (Chris) Smith of Trappe, PA, Dave (Melody) Fender of Yankton, SD, and Robert Smith of Sturgis, SD; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Doreen Kruse; sisters, Kerri Fender and Sherri Heidrick; and grandparents, Patricia and Tjark Kruse.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Legacy and Hospice of Campbell County Hospital for their loving care and kindness extended to Justin. You were his second family.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead.
