June Fagerstrand, 92, of Spearfish, and formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on April 5, 2021, at Monument Health in Spearfish.

June was born on June 28, 1928, in Chicago to Albert and Agnes (Rehn) Fagerstrand.   June was a resident of Chicago's south suburbs but was drawn to Spearfish for its scenic areas for her "golden years".  June had a full-filling nursing career and was an avid reader. Though she lived in South Dakota, she was still a Chicago Bears fan.

A Memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church on April 21 at 10 a.m.  She will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL.
