Obituary

Julie Myers, 54, of Belle Fourche, SD passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017.

Julia Kay (Bensen) Myers was born July 5, 1963 in Rapid City, SD to Charles and Marion (Anderson) Bensen. As the youngest of their six children she joined four siblings, John, Barb, Chuck, and Pat.

Her family moved to Faulkton, SD when she was just a few weeks old. She attended school in Faulkton and graduated from Faulkton High School in 1981. In 1982, she married Kenny Ryman and together they had two sons, Andy and Adam. She later married George Myers in Faulkton on July 1, 2007 and they made their home in Belle Fourche.

Julie worked for the City of Spearfish for the last 8 years as the Public Works Administrative Assistant.

Julie had a passion for living life to the fullest in whatever she did which was an inspiration to those around her. She and George loved traveling and they loved riding their motorcycles. She especially enjoyed any time spent with family and friends. A special light of her life was her granddaughter, Elizabeth. Those who knew her are grateful for having shared her life.

Her memory will be cherished by her husband, George; her sons, Andy Ryman of Spearfish and Adam Ryman of Belle Fourche; two brothers, John (Deanna) Bensen of Brandon and Charles (Naomi) Bensen of Aberdeen; two sisters, Barbara (John) Ross of Prescott, AZ, and Patricia Coker of Davis, CA; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Vrem of Custer; four brothers-in-law, David Myers of Belle Fourche, Ronald (Linda) Myers of Mobridge, Thomas (Mary) Myers of Spearfish, and Richard (Kim) Myers of Belle Fourche; one sister-in-law, Connie (Mark) Selting of Kadoka; and numerous extended family, and many friends.

Julie was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Chuck and Marion Bensen; one sister, Elizabeth Bensen; and one brother-in-law, Ed Coker.

A celebration of Julie's life will be held on Saturday, July 29th, at 10:30 am at Countryside Church in Spearfish with Pastor Bob Totino officiating.

Cremation arrangements were under the care of Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapels and Crematory Service of Spearfish.
