Judy Regan, 88 of Spearfish, passed away on July 11, 2012 at the David M. Dorsett Health Care Center.

Judy was born March 8, 1924 to Etna and Lizzie (Hines) Hague in Highmore, SD. She attended school in Highmore, following graduation she moved to Watertown, SD, where she worked as a bookkeeper. Judy married Jack Regan on March 14, 1948 in Deadwood, SD. She worked in Deadwood for the Department of Equalization for seven years and in the Rapid City, SD office for one year. In 1964 the couple moved to Lead, SD, where Judy worked for the US Forest Service until August of 1979. Following the death of her husband, she returned to work, and worked in accounts payable for Northern Hills General Hospital until April of 1985. In 1988 Judy moved to Spearfish, SD, where she was active in All Angels Episcopal Church, serving as a Lay Minister and Lay Reader and also was a member of the Vestry. While in Spearfish Judy volunteered at the Spearfish Library, also at the Spearfish Food Pantry and served as the Treasure for the Board of Directors of the Food Pantry, she was in the Senior Citizens Choir for five years, and a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi. Judy enjoyed reading, walking and crafts.

Judy is survived by her children; Janice Eulo of Phoenix, AZ, Richard Regan of Andale, KS, Thomas Regan of Lead and Daniel Regan of Lead, SD; two sisters; Jessie Swanson of Tigard, OR, Mildred Merriman of Fargo, ND; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00-6:30 P.M. on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, July 16, 2012 at the chapel with Father Bunker Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to All Angels Episcopal Church.
