Judy M. Meisner, 77 of Sundance, Wyoming passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 in Spearfish, SD

Judy was born on September 12, 1946, to Julius and Lola (Miller) Adam in Deadwood, SD. Her family lived in Deadwood, Tinton, and Spearfish while she was growing up. She was very close with her cousins and made many special memories with them. Judy was always up for getting together with family and enjoying a good visit.

Judy met Edward Meisner at the Beulah bar and later married him in 1971. They owned a ranch southwest of Sundance and raised their two children there. Judy was a homemaker who enjoyed her weekly bowling league and playing cards with her friends. One of her favorite pastimes was solving puzzles, both jigsaw and word/number puzzles. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joys in life. She created many handcrafted items for them to enjoy from crocheted blankets to yearly Christmas ornaments. She was always excited to hear about their accomplishments or funny stories and was always encouraging them to be the best in whatever they were doing.

Judy is survived by her children, Kelly (Jon) Terry of Abingdon, VA, and George (Sarah) Meisner of Sundance, WY; six grandchildren, MaKayla, Nicholas, Becca, Erin, Marcus, and Katie; two great-granddaughters, Raegan and Ryelynn; and her sister, Leona Lewis of Port Angeles, WA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Lola Adam; her husband, Edward Meisner; and her brothers, Garry Adam and Jerry Adam.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Fidler-Roberts & Isburg Funeral Chapel in Sundance, a reception will follow at the Sundance United Methodist Church. Burial will take place at Black Hills National Cemetery.
