Joseph "Joe" Vincent Kromarek, 72 of Hulett, WY died Friday, December 5, 2014 in Rochester, MN.
Funeral services will be at 1:00P.M., Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Great Hulett Community Center in Hulett, WY. Burial will take place at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
Joe was born January 28, 1942 at his grandparent's house to Ludvik and Elizabeth Kromarek in Bowman, ND. He was raised in Scranton, ND and attended school until the 8th grade and also worked on the family farm. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 1959 and was honorably discharged in 1966. He married Viola Anne Peterson on July 14, 1961 in Las Vegas, NV. Viola passed away in 1992. Joe made his home in Bowman, ND, where he worked for the Milwaukee Railroad, as a mechanic at a gas station and later started his own radiator repair shop. Joe moved to Hulett, WY in 1999 and began working at Devil's Tower Forest Products, where he continued to work until his passing.
Joe loved to ride motorcycles and buy new vehicles. He enjoyed the time he spent with grandchildren, taking long drives with whomever he could talk in to joining him. He loved to shoot the breeze and always had a story to tell. Joe always wanted to show off his new toys from cars to lawnmowers. He touched many lives and will be missed by all.
Joe is survived by two sons, Jim (Laura) Kromarek of Colbren, CO and Paul Kromarek of Hulett, WY one daughter, Cheryl Angel of Sundance, WY, two sisters, Ciele Buckmier of Hettinger, ND and Sharon Paulson of Scranton, ND, two brothers, Steve Kromarek and Robert (Kathy ) Kromarek both of Scranton, ND, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister, Annetta, and brother, Richard.
