John T. Peterson, 84, rural Newell, SD died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Belle Fourche Healthcare Center.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Hope Cemetery at Newell.
John was born January 2, 1931 in Stockton, CA. He married Elsie Zeestaten on January 25, 1953.
He is survived by a brother-in-law, Thomas (Sharon) Zeestraten of Belle Fourche; one nephew, John (Liza) Zeestraten of Spearfish; four grand nieces and nephews, Rebecca, Bethanie, Cordell and Kelby and one great-grandniece, Tayla.
John was preceded in death by his wife; father and mother; and nephew Steven.
