Joel Bernard Reed, 80 of Spearfish passed way Friday, October 29, 2021 after a brief illness.

Joel was born July 23, 1941 in Los Angeles, CA to Douglas Reed and Ruth Archut. He was a musician and entertainer for many years. Joel enjoyed baseball and horse racing and loved joking with others, taking after his Aunt Martha Raye, comedian and singer.

He is survived by his best friend and partner, Monica Robinson, children, Edwin Raye and Janie Raye, brother, Michael Scot and sisters, Louise and Barbara.

Joel will be laid to rest at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
