Jill Maureen Cichosz gained her heavenly crown on November 21, 2019 at the age of 39, after a long battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at Rapid City Hospital in South Dakota surrounded by her loving husband and family.

Jill was born on July 15, 1980 in Vancouver, WA. She graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1998. In 2002, she married Eric Cichosz and moved to Spearfish, SD where she resided until her death. She was such a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, auntie and friend, and she loved everybody. Jill was a lifelong member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church where she set such a good example in her simple believing, and self-sacrificing love in helping and serving others.

Jill is survived by her husband, Eric of 16 years; son, Brian; daughter, Amy; her parents, Eldon and Sherry McDaniels of Kennewick, WA; one sister, Rebecca (Mark) Homola of Belle Fourche, SD; three brothers, Kyle (Erica) of Elkton, MD, Kent of Dupont, WA, Troy (Katie) of Kennewick, WA; grandmothers, Raydene McDaniels of Battle Ground, WA, Maureen Miller of Vancouver, WA; Eric's parents, Tim and Marie Cichosz and grandmother, Twylah Redinger all of Spearfish, SD along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of Christian friends. Jill was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Earl McDaniels, Marvin Miller, and Daryl Redinger, her little nephew, Derek Homola.

The viewing will be Monday evening at 6:30 pm and the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 11:00 am. Both will be at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church located at 2040 Vista Hills Place, Spearfish, SD 57783. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
