Obituary
Jesse Dean Frank, 42 of Spearfish, went to meet his Lord and Savior on April 29, 2014 after injuries suffered in an auto accident.
Jesse was born on April 18, 1972 to Laverne and Vesta (Bice) Frank in Winner, SD. He was the ninth of twelve children. In June of 1979 the Frank family moved to Custer, SD. Growing up, Jesse enjoyed hunting, football, baseball, wrestling, and riding his motorcycle. He loved spending summers at his grandparent's farm in Winner, SD. He attended school and graduated from Custer High School in 1990.
On July 4, 1991 he met his wife, Stacey Underberg. They had three children, Brittany, Riley and Jordan, that he loved more than anything. Jesse and Stacey were married on December 13, 2011. Jesse continued his love for hunting, fishing and motorcycle riding as he grew as a father. He loved spending time doing the things he enjoyed with his family and friends as they were very important to him. He especially loved the yearly family reunions in Winner hunting pheasants, on his Uncle Richard's farm, with his dog Buddy, playing games and just spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Stacey, children, Riley and Jordan; his parents, Laverne and Vesta Frank; two brothers, Jeff (RaJean) Frank and Justen Frank; eight sisters, Vicki Frank, Lori (Greg) Kaiser, Lisa Oakley, Vanesa (Darrell) Stevens, Dawn Boggs, Bobbi (Russ) Williams, Tamera (Troy) Allen and Stacy Haggerty; numerous sisters and brothers-in-law; several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Brittany; infant brother, Jody; his grandparents, Melvin and Roberta Bice and Ben and Genevive Frank.
Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Countryside Community Church with Pastor Jamie Groneberg officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to an Educational Fund for his children.
