Jerry Lee Ellingson, 75, of Spearfish, SD passed away on November 19, 2017.

Jerry was born on May 8, 1942, in Torrington, WY to Ken & Tommie (Thelma) Ellingson.  Jerry was educated in Spearfish and graduated from high school, class of 1960.  Jerry married his high school sweetheart, Sharon Bridges on September 23, 1961, and they enjoyed 53 years together.  Jerry worked alongside of his father, Ken, for many years drilling water wells.  He eventually took over the well drilling business as well as Ken's trailer court in Spearfish.

Jerry is survived by daughters, Lori Tennant of Limon 2, Nicaragua and Teri Ellingson of Sturgis and son, Michael (Corrina) Ellingson of Spearfish; grandchildren, Shauna Fierro Buford, GA, Lindsey Tennant Buford, GA, Brent Tennant, Buford GA, Brandon Redinger, Rapid City SD, Levi (Sandy) Redinger of Lead SD, and Jesse (Shanelle) Redinger of Battleground, WA, Alison Ellingson of Owatonna MN, and Kenny Ellingson of Spearfish SD, along with 12 great-grandchildren and many wonderful friends. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sharon.  Jerry will always be remembered for his honesty, integrity and quick sense of humor.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 am on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish. A reception will follow the service.
