Jeremy Addington, 23 of Deadwood, passed away on July 21, 2015.
Jeremy Lyndale Addington was the first child born to Belinda "Tex" and Randy Addington in Deadwood, South Dakota on October 11, 1991.
Jeremy began Shotokan Karate when he was 8 years old and accomplished black belt status in 2009. His passion for soccer lasted throughout his life. Jeremy graduated high school in 2010 and went on to MTI in Mitchell, SD but decided it was not for him therefore he moved to Denver, CO and worked in the restaurant industry while staying with his uncles. Jeremy graduated from the United States Marine Corp basic training in the summer of 2013. He was eventually honorably discharged on medical leave, so he took up various jobs around Deadwood while practicing his new passion at the bar. The Buffalo Bodega Complex was his new playground for dancing especially to show off his colorful LED light finger gloves.
Jeremy could always be counted on to care for his friends and so he touched more people in his 23 years of life than he realized before his death. He was loved and will be missed by many.
Survivors include his father Randy Addington of Deadwood; mother, Tex Addington of Sturgis and sisters, Jessica Addington of Sturgis and Wendy Addington of Spearfish.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead, where anyone who knew Jeremy can share memories and conversation about him.
