Janet May Conzelman, 71, of Devils Tower, WY, passed away October 16, 2010 at Crook County Memorial Nursing Home in Sundance, WY surrounded by her family.

Memorial Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the Hulett Civic Center with Deacon Kim Carroll as celebrant. A lunch will follow the service provided by the Buttons & Bows. Burial will take place at Tower Divide Cemetery at a later date.

Janet was born December 25, 1938 to Sam and Annie (Marsh) Bears in Newcastle, WY. Janet's family lived in various areas while growing up. She was the 5th child of 8 children.
On May 17, 1958, Janet married the love of her life Dean Conzelman in Belle Fourche, SD., and to this union three daughters were born, Patsy, Donna, & Karen. May 2010 they celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary.

Janet loved the outdoors and worked side-by-side with her husband on the Conzelman Ranch located on Lytle Creek near Devils Tower. In 1982, Dean & Janet moved to their own ranch in which they named "The Close Encounter Ranch". Janet's hobbies throughout her life included crafts and sewing, wood-working, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling, hunting and fishing, going for long drives through the hills, and spending time with family and friends. Children were the joy of her life. An all time favorite for Dean & Janet was dancing. Janet was also an avid beanie baby collector.

Janet is survived by her husband Dean Conzelman of Devils Tower, WY, three daughters; Patsy (Wes) McAmis of Moorcroft, WY, Donna (Larry) McDaniel of Hulett, WY, and Karen (Bill) Richards of Gillette, WY; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brothers; Sam Bears of Upton, WY, Ark (Nancy) Bears of Story, WY, Samson (Debbie) Bears of Hulett, WY, and Lewis (Gale) Bears of Moorcroft, WY, sisters; Roberta Johnson of Gillette, WY, and Virginia Dean of Gillette, WY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Alfred Bears and one nephew Jeff Bears.
