James Fredrick Trasmondi, "Jimmy" or "Jim", age 71, of Spearfish, South Dakota, went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2023 while in the hospital with his wife by his side.

Jimmy was born on February 26, 1952, in Fort Dix, New Jersey, to Herman and Betty Trasmondi. He is survived by his loving wife, Lana and their children Marco and Gina, his sister Stephanie "Stevie", brother-in-law Richard "Dick", nieces Danielle "Dani" and Michele and many other dear relatives.

He graduated from Cherry Hill High School West in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He spent most his adult life running his own business and raising his family in Tucson, Arizona before relocating to South Dakota.  His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, enjoying western classics, rocking unfashionable Hawaiian shirts and laughing the loudest at his own jokes.
