James E. Corean, 81, Spearfish, SD died Friday, March 15, 2013 at his home.

He was born November 13, 1931 to Tom and Alice (Henwood) Corean. He was raised and attended school in Spearfish, where he spent his entire life. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. James married Zola Ladson on February 11, 1956 in Spearfish. They had three children, Jody, Twyla and Jimmy. He worked as a truck driver, doing local freight deliveries for over 30 years. He enjoyed pool leagues, fishing, hunting, horseshoes and family reunions.

He is survived children; Twyla Goehner, Jimmy (Deb) Corean; grandchildren; Toby Corean, Curtis Williams, Clint Corean, Ronnie Goehner, Adam Ness, Toby Ness, Aaron Mailloux, TJ Monlux, Josh Corean, Samantha Guevara and Kirk Guevara; great-grandchildren; Andrew Newlander, Peyton Ness, Tyson Ness, Preston Ness, Kaden Ness, Tabitha Lee, Koen Ness, Maddie Mailloux, Elyssa Mailloux, HaLayna Moffitt, Sam Moffitt and Kadie Moffitt. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Zola and son, Jody.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. Military honors provided by the Spearfish Honor Guard.
