Jacqueline Kay Gangelhoff, 66, of Whitewood, SD left this world doing what she loved, riding with her husband, Thumpr on their trike on August 13, 2023.

She was born on January 2, 1957, to Harold and Phylis Balfonz in Bayport, MN. Jacq was a 1975 graduate of Stillwater High School. After graduation, she worked in the banking industry. She worked for the Howard House in St. Paul, MN, for 12 years. In 2009, Jacq moved to South Dakota where she married the love of her life, Paul "Thumpr" Gangelhoff on August 9, 2001, in Spearfish, SD. Jacq worked for Northern Hills Training Center for the next 10 years as a Direct Support Professional.

Jacq was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and someone who never met a stranger. She continually made people smile and laugh. She will truly be missed by many.

Jacq is survived by her husband Paul; son Eric (Michelle) Efron; grandchildren, Josiah, Mia Bella, Aliah, Elijah and Liliana of Oahu, HI, and the many friends she made throughout the years.

A celebration of life will be held on December 2, 2023, at 1pm at the Whitewood Senior Center.
