Obituary

Jacquline "Jackie" D. Burr, 45 passed away Thursday, September 3, 2009 at her home in Spearfish, SD.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church in Spearfish with funeral services to follow at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Mark Chaplin officiating. Inurnment will take place at Black Hills National Cemetery.

Jacquline Denise (Sanders) Burr was born on May 2, 1964 to Donald and Pat (Quinn) Sanders in Rapid City, SD. She graduated from Lead High School in 1982, where she was active in drama, choir, basketball and debate. After high school, she attended Black Hills State University. She then moved to Gillette, WY in 1984, where she taught at a Christian school. She returned to South Dakota in 1996 and married David Lee Burr on March 29, 1997. The couple resided in Spearfish, SD. She was in home health care for three years, was certified as an Emergency Medical Technician in 2005, was active with the Spearfish Ambulance Service for four years. She was also a member of Calvary Temple church in Spearfish, SD.
She enjoyed softball, drawing, taking care of people, spending time with her family and watching her children's sporting events.
Grateful to have shared in her life are parents, Don and Pat Sanders of Lead, SD; siblings, Brian (Cembra) Sanders of Ft. Worth, TX, Christine (Mike) Gardner of Aledo, TX, Helen (Mike) Morris of Azel, TX and Dale (Heidi) Sanders of Shelbyville, KY; husband, David Burr; children; Jessica (Adam) Moates of Oklahoma City, OK, Diana (Jeremy) Rivale of Ft. Worth, TX, Amanda Beck of Astoria, Oregon, Joshua Burr, Jacob Burr and Ashley Burr, Christopher (Nicolle) Burr and Philip Burr all of Spearfish, SD; two grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Helen and Jack Quinn and uncle John Quinn.
