Jack Evan Theodore Lathrop was born on August 21, 2017 at Spearfish Regional Hospital to Jamie Mulhair and Landis Lathrop weighing 8lbs, 9oz and 19½ inches long.

Jack joined the Kingdom of God in Baptism on September 10, 2017. His Godparents are Kevin and Christy Ballert, James Leach and Daniel Mulhair.

Jack was such a perfect baby boy that brought so much love and happiness to our family. Jack was so well loved and cared for by so many people. He had such an infectious smile that would melt your heart along with his sweet chubby cheeks. Jack loved to be talked to, sung to or any kind of attention that was given. His brothers and sister always took such good care of him and loved spending time with him. One of Jack's favorite places was when Mommy and Daddy would hold him close to our hearts as he fell asleep. Jack was such a blessing to our family and we are so thankful for the time that God gave us with him.

Jack Evan Theodore Lathrop, passed away peacefully at his home, to be with the angels, at the age of 2 months on Saturday, October 21, 2017. In Jack's short 2 months he brought everyone such joy and happiness and will forever be in our hearts.

Jack is survived by his loving parents, Jamie Mulhair and Landis Lathrop of Spearfish; siblings Karly, Liam and Keegan of Spearfish, Madilyn, Adelia and Logan Lathrop of Newton, NC; grandparents, James and Karen Mulhair of Sturgis, Greg and Carol Lathrop of Newton, NC, Joe and Debbie Lathrop of Fairmont, VA; great-grandparents, Richard and Marlene Dayton of Crystal River, FL; aunts and uncles, Daniel Mulhair and Nic Gerry of Spearfish and their children, Kaden and Kolten Olson and Hope and Tyler Gerry; Lisa and Trent Tegethoff of Sioux Falls and their children, Tylor, Harley, Logan and Charlie; aunt and uncle Christine and Mike Reidel of Sioux Falls and their son, Preston; Uncle Evan Lathrop of Citrus Springs, FL; Aunt Chelseie Vanderwal of Homosassa Springs, FL and children, Carolina, Connor, Syver Georgia. Jack was preceded in death by his grandmother, Cynthia Reed.

Visitation will be from 2-4 PM on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Spearfish. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
