Iva Sherrard, 85, of Sundance, WY, passed away on February 20, 2011 at Crook County Memorial Nursing Home in Sundance.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 25, 2011 at Sundance United Methodist Church with Reverend David Moorman officiating. Burial will follow at Green Mountain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Crook County Medical Service District, Long Term Care Center or Sundance United Methodist Church.

Iva was born on June 2, 1925 to Ralph and Iris (Bruner) Partlow in Sundance. She married Robert F. Sherrard in August of 1942. They moved to Louisiana for a short time while Robert was in the Army Air Corps. They then returned to Sundance where they resided the rest of their lives.

Iva was employed by Crook County School District as a cook and dietician for many years. She will always be remembered for her apple pies, rolls and cookies. She suffered a second stroke in 2004 and had resided at Long Term Care Center in Sundance since that time.

She is survived by her two sons Robert (Deana) Sherrard of Prescott, AZ and William (Cathy) Sherrard of Sundance; sister Edna Prestes of Broken Bow, NE; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
