Irene Martha Kissack, 73, passed away August 4, 2007, at the David M. Dorsett Regional Senior Care Center in Spearfish after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Visitation will be from 3-7 P.M., Wednesday, August 8th 2007 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 9, 2007 at the Christian Life Center in Belle Fourche with Pastor Paul Howard officiating, burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Spearfish.
A memorial has been established.
She was born on Jan. 20, 1934 to John and Molly (Shimp) Kindsfater and graduated from Belle Fourche High School in 1952. She married Donald Weston Kissack October 11, 1959; they resided on their ranch in Spearfish, SD.
Irene was employed by Pioneer Bank & Trust until she became ill in 1972. Besides being a loving wife and mother, known for her positive attitude and kind personality, she was a very courageous woman. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, playing bingo and visits from her family and friends.
She is survived by a son, Donald Kissack, and his wife Laura (Miller) and a daughter, Lorraine Kissack, both of Spearfish, SD. Six grandchildren, a sister, Betty Beals, a brother, Marvin Kindsfater, both of Belle Fourche, SD. and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald and a sister, Helen Stumpf.
