Obituary
Irene E. (Fischer) Heiser, age 88, formerly of Spearfish, South Dakota, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, Idaho.
Memorial services will be 10:00, Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish with Reverend Gordon Higgins officiating, inurnment will follow at Mountain Lawn Cemetery, Lead, South Dakota
She was born October 21, 1918 in Eureka, South Dakota. Irene and Adam Heiser were married June 14, 1939. After farming for several years Adam and Irene moved to the Black Hills area in 1952. Irene was a homemaker until Adam's death in 1965. She then was employed by the Lead School District as a school custodian.
Survivors are Irene's children Larry Heiser, Honolulu, Hawaii; Katherine (Heiser) White, Boise, Idaho; and Louise (Heiser) Christianson, Littleton, Colorado. Her grandchildren are Amanda (Christianson) Ciatti, Casey Christianson, and Beth (Christianson) Soelzer. Irene was also blessed with 6 great-grandchildren.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband Adam Heiser and son LaRue Heiser.
Arrangements are under the care of Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel of Spearfish.
