Hazel G. Jennerjahn, 93 of Upton, WY died Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Weston County Manor in Newcastle, WY.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Upton United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Upton. Memorials may be directed to benefit the Upton E.M.S.
Hazel was born May 20, 1919 to Chester and Sarah (Cook) Joslin at Ranch Creek, MT. She moved at a young age with her family to Whitewood, SD, and later to Newcastle, WY, where she graduated from high school in 1936. She married Clinton Morgan on April 5, 1940 in Newcastle. The couple made their home around the Upton area, where Hazel worked for the telephone company and later for Union State Bank. Clinton passed away April 1980. She married George Jennerjahn on July 27, 1986 and they made their home in Tacoma WA until returning to Upton the Fall of 2005. Hazel and George enjoyed spending their summers in Alaska at George's homestead. George passed in January of 2007, and Hazel entered Weston County Manor in November of 2008. Hazel was a member of the Upton United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her son, Kent (Nancy) Morgan of Gillette, WY, two grandchildren, Craig Morgan of Maui, HI and Brenda (Dustin) Upton of Upton, six great grandchildren; Brittany and Courtney Morgan of Maui, HI, Doug Watt, of Baltimore, MD, Bryan Watt of Washington DC, Jason (Lindy) Watt of Gillette and Dalton Williams-Upton of Cheyenne, WY, two great-great-grandchildren, Charli and Tatum Watt of Gillette and sister, Marie Montgomery of Minneapolis, MN.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clinton and George, an infant son, Robert and brother, Edward.
