Harry E. Clingan, 93 of Upton, WY died Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Crook County Long Term Care Center in Sundance.

Vigil services will be at 7:00P.M., Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Upton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00A.M., Thursday, August 26, 2010 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Inyan Kara Cemetery with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers memorials have been established to benefit the Town of Upton-Old Town and the Crook County Long Term Care Center.

Harry was born August 4, 1917 at the family ranch of rural Sundance, Wyoming. He was the eldest son of Harry and Catherine (Kunath) Clingan. He married Myra Clark on May 15, 1942 in Sundance. He served in the CCC'S in the Cheyenne area and also served in the United States Army Air Force during WWII from 1942-1945. He was a certified Master Electrician and worked for the Town of Sundance, Willie Pringle wiring houses in Upton and for the Town of Upton until his retirement. He was the proprietor of Western Radio and Western Electric Services. Harry was a HAMM Radio operator with the call letters of W7NMW for several years. He enjoyed the outdoors and anything electrical.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years of marriage, Myra Clingan of Upton, three sons; Raymond (Georgia Mae) Clingan of Kingwood, TX, Ed (Yong) Clingan of Upton and Joe Clingan of Gillette, WY, four daughters; Evelyn Frieze of Upton, WY, Theresa (Rick) Benavidez of Gillette, Cathy (Cliff) Dowdy of Rozet, WY and Becky (Randy) Ernster of Canon City, CO, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Merle, Charles and Raymond and one granddaughter, Melody Burrell.
