Gordon G. Goetz, 85, of Sundance, WY went to be with the lord on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the Crook County Memorial Nursing Home in Sundance.

He was born on October 2, 1926 in Krem, ND to Arthur and Bertha (Huber) Goetz. Gordon married Elsie Reub in 1948. As a young man, Gordon worked for Truex Trayer Coal Company in North Dakota. He then worked on the Garrison Dam until it's completion. He also worked for Oliver Mercer Electric of Hazen, ND. Gordon moved to Wyoming and worked for Powder River Energy until his retirement in 1988.
Gordon enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, farming, hunting and fishing.

Gordon is survived by a very special friend, Gail Kaiser of Sundance; his two sons, Lamar (Jody) of Washburn, ND and Garrett of Hazen, ND; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie, his parents, brother, Darrel, sister, Nita, and daughter-in-law, Candice.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, June 15, 2012 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Sundance.

A memorial has been established to the church in his memory.
