Gladys Becker, 89, of Lead died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Lead-Deadwood Regional Hospital.

Gladys was born February 11 ,1929 in Lehr, ND to Julius and Ella (Weixel) Schnabel. Gladys married Lloyd Becker April 10, 1948 in Ashley, ND. In 1952, they moved to Lead, SD.

Gladys is survived by three sons and two daughters; Norley (Delphine) Becker, Kevin (Janis) Becker, Darla Becker, Bradley (Rhonda) Becker and Karla (Ken) Hawki; seven grandchildren; Thomas Hall, Dean Becker, Tiffany Fager, Melanie Becker, Philip Hawki, Amanda Moriarty and Heather Mollman; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Essig and Sheila Schnabel and one brother, Floyd Schnabel. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, daughter Sheryl Becker, daughter-in-law, Debra (Reiling) Becker, two brothers Wilbert Schnabel and Jerry Schnabel, three grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 28th at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Black Hills National Cemetery.
