It is with heavy hearts that we announce Galen Bieber journeyed to the spirit world. October 25, 2026, Creator called him home. He was 66 years old and lived in Lead, South Dakota.

He is survived by his father, August Bieber, siblings, Monica (Kevin) Hampson, Connie (Kelly) Thomsen, Janet Bieber, Earl Bieber, Merle Bieber, Kerry Bieber and August Jr (Simone) Bieber. His beloved children, Sara (Alec) Wood and Jordan (Dannelle) Bieber, grandchildren; Luka, Avari, Malechi, Fable, Malcom, Khaos, Quentin, Kyann, and Athena, and numerous nieces and nephews and many many friends.

Galen was reunited with his precious mother Delilah (Phillips) Bieber. He had been waiting most of his life to see his mom again.

He loved hunting, fishing, bike riding and all things outdoors. He enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, hacky sack and lived a life of fitness.

Galen was a proud member of the Cheyenne River Sioux tribe of South Dakota. He was honored to have Native ancestry, and he enjoyed celebrating his indigenous culture.

His kind and heartwarming nature is remembered by all who knew him. He loved animals and children and was easy to make friends with. Galen’s gentle spirit left a footprint on this Earth that will not soon fade.

Service will be on his next birthday, June 14, 2027, in Lead, South Dakota.
