Felix J. Mehia, Sr., 79, of Lead, South Dakota, passed away May 8, 2011 at his home.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., Sunday, May 15, 2011, at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel, Lead, SD. Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. , Monday, May 16, 2011 at Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, SD.
Felix was born January 29, 1932 in Riverton, Wyoming to Jose and Jacainta Mehia.
He is survived by his wife, Sally (Crooked Eyes ) Mehia of Lead, South Dakota; his 3 sons, Felix J. (Cindy) Mehia, Jr. of Lead, SD; Michael J. Mehia of Lead, SD; Max A. (Michelle) Mehia of Denver, CO; his 2 daughters, Cindy Mehia Parra of Sioux Falls, SD; Madonna (Rick) Mehia Dohmen of Fort Collins, CO; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Felix is preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Mehia, his parents, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
