Ella (Heinrich) Hart, a longtime
resident of Lead, SD, passed away April 20, 2013.
A celebration of her life services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Lead, SD, with Reverend Tom Stenzel officiating. Inurnment will be at Mountain Lawn Cemetery, Lead.
Ella was born September 27, 1926 in Forbes, ND to Julius and Pauline (Wolff) Heinrich. She was received in baptism June 1, 1927 and confirmed on July 13, 1941.
She joined Leslie Hart in marriage in Aberdeen, SD on April 24, 1945. They had four children; Cheryl (Chuck) McCain, Rapid City, SD; Terry (Sue) Hart, Deadwood, SD; Bonnie Healy and Tammy (Phillip) Reif, Deadwood, SD. Ella is also survived by six
grandchildren; Chad Krantz and Eric Krantz, Rapid City, SD; Christie Powers, Salem, OR; Derek Hart, Douglas, WY; Chelsie Bauer, Deadwood, SD; Jennifer Reif,
Hillsboro, OR and four great-grandchildren; Chadow Krantz, Deadwood, SD; Christopher Krantz, Colorado Springs, CO; Kiani Krantz, Rapid City, SD, Tatum Krantz, Deadwood, SD and Sabrina Wiser, Salem. OR.
Preceding her in death were her parents, one sister, five brothers, her husband in 2003 and her daughter, Bonnie in 1999.
Ella was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Church (before she became immobile) and the V.F. W. Ladies Auxiliary.
She dearly loved all of her grandchildren, when she could, she would babysit them. Her other passions were gambling, walking outside and bowling when she was younger. She was employed at Homestake Mining
Company from December 1973 – 1995 and worked for Katons after retiring from Homestake.
Arrangements are under the care of the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel, Lead, SD.
