Edward Russell, 62, Gillette, WY died Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Close of Home Hospice House in Gillette.

Ed was born July 16, 1952 to Donald and Roberta (Flockhart) Russell at Miles City, MT, where he grew up and attended school. He later joined the U.S. Army for two years. After serving in the army, he worked for many years in the oil field industry. He then settled in the Gillette area in 1986, where he had lived since. Ed was married to Ann (Howard) Russell for 22 years; to this marriage their only son Robby was born.

He was a loving father, grandfather and father-in-law. Who enjoyed hunting, fishing and gambling in Deadwood.

Ed is survived by his son, Robby (Carrie) Russell, Gillette; grandchildren, Chloe Caitlynn Russell and Connor Edward Russell; one brother, Dennis Russell and former wife, Ann Russell, Gillette.
Per Ed's request cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
