E. Annabelle Ellsbury, 88 of Sundance, Wyoming died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Crook County Memorial Nursing Home.
Visitation will be from 3-6 P.M., Friday, January 29, 2010 at Fidler-Roberts & Isburg Funeral Chapel in Sundance.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Sundance United Methodist Church with Pastor Dave Moorman officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Sundance.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to benefit the Sundance Senior Citizens.
Annabelle was born February 5, 1921 the youngest of twelve children to Isaac and Mary Ellen (Crago) Cundy on a ranch north of Beulah, Wyoming. She moved with her family at a young age to Spearfish, where she attended school. Annabelle married Conrad Ellsbury on December 3, 1939 at the United Methodist parsonage in Sundance. The couple ranched for many years at Farrall on Red Water. After her children were raised Annabelle went to work in the county assessor's office. Following Conrad's death in 1993, Annabelle moved to Sundance, where she was active in the Methodist church and the Sundance Senior Citizens. Throughout her life she was active in Eastern Star and Crook County Cattle Women, holding offices in each.
Survivors include three daughters; Sonja (Russell) Tracy of Sundance, Mary Ellen Hooper of Wheatridge, CO and Carol (Allen) Vines of Ventura, CA, one son, Larry (Debbie) Ellsbury of Sundance, twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, ten brothers; George, Henry, Raymond, Earl, Ernest, Clarence, Fred, Melvin, Dick and Cecil and one sister, Eva.
