Dustin Lewis Mettler, 35 of Upton, WY, went home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2018. He was born on February 5, 1983 in Belle Fourche, SD, to Troy and Elizabeth Mettler.

Dustin graduated from Upton High School in 2001. Throughout his life, Dustin worked several oilfield jobs and loved to be a mechanic and tinker on vehicles. In his spare time, Dustin enjoyed hunting, autos and food.

At a young age, Dustin was diagnosed with Elhers Danlos Syndrome and Diabetes. From that time on it was an uphill battle. None of us will ever know the pain he suffered every day, but you wouldn't know by his character and attitude. Dustin was a loving, caring and humble person. He loved his family, nieces and nephews, but the love of his life was his daughter Emma.

Dustin is survived by his daughter, Emma; parents, Troy and Elizabeth Mettler; maternal grandparents, Bill and Ruth Boucher; his brother, Dexter (Katti) Mettler; his sister, Samantha (David) Wise; two nieces and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lewis and Anne Mettler and maternal grandfather, Bill Nairn.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the Upton Community Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Upton Ambulance Service.
