Dorothy Pawlowski, 84, Spearfish, SD died Friday, July 4, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She passed away at Rapid City Regional Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.


Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Leroy R. Pawlowski, Spearfish, children; Richard (Marilyn) Pawlowski, Dallas, GA, Shirley Hecht, Gillette, WY, Calvin (Teri) Pawlowski, Rapid City, Leroy A. Pawlowski, Spearfish and LeAnn (Tim) McGrath, Ankeny, IA. Grandchildren; Richard Mullins, William Hecht, Matthew Pawlowski, Lyndsey McGrath, Amanda Pawlowski, Nick McGrath, Tim McGrath, one step-grandson, Chris Smith, eight great-granddaughters, and two step-great-grandchildren. Dorothy is also survived by two sisters; Hazel Shea, Seattle, WA and Blanche Kellogg, Riverton, WY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Annie (Jeffers) Boyer, nine siblings, one son-in-law and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation for Dorothy will be 4-6 PM, Wednesday, July 9, at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM, Thursday, July 10 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Spearfish. Interment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. A memorial has been established to the Disabled American Veterans bus and Memorial Bench Fund.
