Doris J. Scott, 101, Lead, died, April 23, 2013 at the David M Dorsett Healthcare Center in Spearfish.

Doris J. Johnson was born April 21, 1912, Marsland, NE to Cary and Florence (Benham) Johnson. She married Lyle C. Scott on June 25, 1931. Four children were born to this union, Jeanette (Leonard) Latuseck, Lead, Robert (Mavis) Scott, Moses Lake, WA, Carol Scott, Lead and Evelyn (Kent) Eccleston, Rapid City. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge for 81 years, Women of the World and Trinity United Methodist Church in Lead for 69 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years in 1994, two brothers, four sisters and one great-great grandson.

Visitation will be from 2-4p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10a.m., Monday, April 29, 2013 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lead, burial will follow at Mountain Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial may be directed to benefit Trinity United Methodist Church of Lead.

Arrangements are under the care of the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel of Lead.
